About the Orbit Gymnastics Foundation
Why was the Orbit Gymnastics Foundation created?
We want to help a sport that we believe needs it. Gymnastics can be an expensive sport--between paying to go to a club, buying supplies like grips, travel expenses, and competition fees--but we want every gymnast to have a fair opportunity to pursue their passion and achieve their dreams.
We have also noticed challenges facing the sport: In the 1960s, there were over 210 NCAA men's gymnastics programs. As of 2024, only 12 Division I programs remain, making men's gymnastics the smallest NCAA sport. Besides the 12 Division I teams, there are 14 college club teams under the GymAct category. However, these clubs have to fund themselves, which is challenging given their busy schedules with practice and coursework.
Even high school gymnastics has seen a decline. Out of all fifty states, only Texas, Illinois, Massachusetts, and New York (NYC Only) support high school gymnastics. So, the majority of gymnasts go to club teams. Club teams are great--we do not want to paint a picture that gymnastics is only grim--but we do want to help support and foster great environments for teams and gymnasts that might need help.
This is why we started the Orbit Gymnastics Foundation. We believe gymnastics is a beautiful sport, and want to help keep the sport thriving as much as we can. If you share our view on the sport, please consider supporting us with a donation.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to preserve and promote men’s gymnastics by providing essential funding and support to gymnastics programs around the Northwest. We aim to foster a thriving community of athletes, coaches, and supporters dedicated to the sport's growth and sustainability.
What do we do?
We collaborate with gymnastics facilities throughout the Northwest, and plan to host fundraisers in the future, where those involved with gymnastics can express their thoughts and wants with the foundation.
